Arrive in Brisbane

Arrive in Brisbane and take a private transfer to the Emporium Hotel South Bank. Get settled into your gorgeous room, and then head out to explore South Bank, Brisbane’s premier lifestyle and cultural destination.

When you’re ready to relax, why not head back to the Emporium for some drinks overlooking the city.

Explore the city and enjoy a wine

Begin your day with a ferry ride to downtown Brisbane, a mix of gracious old buildings, sleek skyscrapers and grassy parks. Browse the heritage arcades and 700-plus stores on Queen Street Mall, the city’s shopping hub. Around the corner lies the elegant former Treasury Building, now home to a casino, hotel, bars and restaurants, a great place to stop for a bite of lunch.

After lunch head over to the City Winery, where you will join the team to enjoy a wine blending workshop. Guests will learn the art of blending wines and techniques the winemaker employs and what they’re looking for to achieve the perfect taste and texture profile.

Day trip to Moreton Island

Spend the day enjoying Moreton Island, just a 70-minute ferry ride from Brisbane. Moreton Island is the third largest sand island in the world and most of the island is national park, creating a blissful paradise of sandy beaches, bush and lagoons. The island is also home to the Tangalooma Wrecks, popular for diving and snorkelling.

South Bank and Story Bridge climb

Right on your doorstep in South Bank you’ll find the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). Soak up some culture with a wander through, and when you’re ready to have some down time head to Streets Beach, Australia’s only inner-city man-made beach. Take a dip in the sparkling lagoon waters or just relax on powder white sand.

As the sun sets, embark on the Story Bridge Adventure Climb, one of only three bridge climbs in the world. You’ll find a unique – and exhilarating – new view of the city and the surrounding Glass House Mountains, Moreton Bay and Scenic Rim Mountains.
