Day 1 Arrive Zagreb

Upon your arrival at Zagreb airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Dinner is served in the hotel Esplanade restaurant where you will get to sample ŠTRUKLI – traditional handmade pastry that oozes oven-baked fresh cottage cheese topped with cream. Spend the next two nights at REGENT ESPLANADE. (D)

Day 2 Zagreb

After breakfast, you will be taken on a tour of Zagreb. See typical architecture of Central Europe from the 19th and 20th centuries, including the Cathedral of St. Stephen and Archbishop’s towers and halls. Visit Zrinjevac Park before heading to the picturesque openair Dolac Market and later, historic landmarks throughout Zagreb. During your tour, enjoy coffee and sweet refreshments in Kraš Choco Bar, finishing the tour with a traditional lunch. The afternoon is at leisure. (B,L)

Day 3 Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes

Enroute to Plitvice Lakes you will stop in Samobor for a sightseeing tour where you will witness the traditional preparation of indigenous bermet and Samobor mustard. After lunch, the next stop will be Rastoke, the historic centre of Slunj known for its well-preserved mills and picturesque waterfalls along the Slunjcica River. You will arrive at Plitvice Lakes where you can enjoy high wooded mountains and lakes of crystal blue-green water. The day will conclude with a traditional dinner and overnight stay at PLITVICE SELO. Day 4 Plitvice - Motovun-Brtonlgla

The first stop enroute to Brtonigla, is Hum, the smallest town in the world with 22 inhabitants. Following the Mirna river valley, you will reach the village Motovun where there will be time to explore. Motovun is the most famous place for truffles and here you will get to experience a truffle session at the Zigante estate. On the way to your hotel in Brtonigla, you will stop at one of the wine cellars in the village, Vižinada for wine and olive oil tasting. The evening is at leisure. Day 5 Brtonigla - Pula-Bale- Brtonigla

After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour of Pula, the cultural and economic centre of Istria. See the magnificent Amphitheatre and gain incredible insights into the glorious history of Pula. You will then be transferred to the town of Bale, where you will spend your time at Villa Meneghetti surrounded by stunning scenery enjoying the delicacies from the Meneghetti chefs, sipping a glass of Meneghetti wine and watching the beautiful set over the vineyards of Merlot. Overnight at SAN ROCCO HERITAGE HOTEL. (B,L,)

Day 6 Brtonigla- Rovinj- Opatija

Today you will visit one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean, Rovinj. Venture down narrow medieval streets, enjoying the sights and the enchanting Mediterranean setting before lunch and wine tasting en-route to Opatija. Overnight at HOTEL MOZART. (B,L,-)

Day 7 Opatija - Zagreb

Today the morning and early afternoon is at leisure in Opatija before being transferred back to Zagreb where you will enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at REGENT ESPLANADE. (B,-,D)

Day 8 Depart Zagreb

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Zagreb airport for your onward flight. (B)
