Zagreb - Opatija

Today you will be met at Zagreb airport and privately transferred to Opatija in Kvarner Bay on the Northern Adriatic. Opatija possesses magnificent luxury villas, dazzling neoclassic and art nouveau hotels located in beautiful gardens and parks. There will be a welcome dinner and then overnight at HOTEL MILENIJ or similar. (D)

Opatija - Istria Tour - Porec - Opatija

After breakfast you will be taken on a full day excursion to the Istrian Peninsula. Be enchanted by hilltops covered in vineyards and olive trees, topped with picturesque villages. You will stop at the medieval town of Motovun then reach Porec via a scenic seaside route. In Porec, visit one of the most famous religious monuments, Euphrasian Basilica. Enjoy a walking tour of Rovinj. Arrive back at HOTEL MILENIJ or similar where you will stay overnight. (B)

Opatija - Plitvice Lakes - Zadar

After breakfast you will depart toward Zadar with an en route stop at Plitvice Lakes National Park. The park has a grand collection of waterfalls, lakes, forests and diverse animal life. The sixteen lakes formed by natural dams of travertine are on the UNESCO’s World Natural Heritage list. Overnight at HOTEL BASTION in Zadar. (B)

Zadar - Sibenik - Split

This morning you will be taken on a walking tour of Zadar visiting diverse architectural sites. In the early afternoon, you will travel to Split with an en route stop in the city of Sibenik to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Listed cathedral of St James. The next three nights you will be at HERITAGE HOTEL MARMONT or similar in Split. (B)

Split - Trogir - Split

Today will begin with a walking tour of UNESCO World Heritage listed Trogir which is a remarkable historic town featuring, Romanesque churches, Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period. You will return to Split for a walking tour of the historical centre and the remains of Diocletian’s Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Listed). (B)

Split - Stari Grad - Split

After breakfast, you will be transferred by ferryboat from Split to the town of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. You will be taken on a short walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Stari Grad Plain which is a cultural landscape that has remained practically intact since it was first colonised by Ionian Greeks from Pharos in the 4th century BC. You will return to Hvar for a short walking tour before returning to Split. (B)

Split - Ston - Dubrovnik

This morning you will depart Split bound for Dubrovnik with an en route stop in Ston. The town of Ston was built in the 14th century around Salt plants that are the oldest in Europe and are still in use today with unchanged salt producing technology over centuries. Continue on to Dubrovnik where you will stay for the next two nights at HILTON HOTEL. (B)

Dubrovnik

This morning you will be taken on a half-day tour of UNESCO World Heritage listed, Dubrovnik. This ancient city is surrounded by ramparts and fortresses abounds in architectural and cultural masterpieces carefully preserved for centuries. The afternoon is at leisure to explore, before a farewell dinner that evening. (B, D)

Depart Dubrovnik

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
