Because VOMO is a private island with no other resorts or villages, you will be embraced by a truly unique and personal 5-star Fijian experience. With just 32 private multi-bedroom residences and resort villas, set on an expansive 255-acre island, VOMO offers a tremendous opportunity to enjoy space and seclusion in a tropical paradise. Three miles (5 kilometres) of long deserted white sand beaches fringe the island and the warm crystal clear waters that surround the island are perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

VOMO is a foodies paradise. Two restaurants offer delicious cuisine suited to the tropical environment is included in the rate, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and a great range of activities and water sports.

Baby Butlers are available at nominal cost to care one on one for children or Little Islanders can be looked after on a complimentary basis at the Kids Village where a range of fun activities have a distinct Fiji flavour. VOMO is an accredited Virtuoso Family Community member.

The adults-only Rocks is THE place to venture for sundowners. Serving up delicious cocktails as the sun sets over the little island of Vomo Lai Lai, this very cool bar is the perfect vantage point to enjoy the best sunsets.

Destination

Spectacular VOMO Island resort is located on the privately owned Vomo Island. Getting here from Nadi is quick and easy, with a choice of a 15 minute helicopter flight or a 35 minutes fast boat ride. Once you arrive you’ll be greeted with a warm Fijian welcome, and settle in to enjoy the entire 225 acre property to explore, relax and recharge.

VOMO has a warm tropical climate year round, with a wet season between November and April. During this time there is more chance of a tropical shower in the afternoon, and the ocean will be a few degrees warmer. The peak season in Fiji is June to October, with many visitors enjoying an escape from a cold Australian winter.

Rooms

VOMO offers a range of room options, catering to all needs. The secluded Hillside Villas offer stunning views, whilst the Beachfront Villas and Havens are just steps away from the sand. For a larger group the Beachfront Family Retreat will provide room for everyone, and can also interconnect to accommodate the extended family.

VOMO also provides the option of Private Residences, luxury houses available for the ultimate experience.

In all room options you will enjoy complimentary laundry wash and fold service as well as wifi.

Dining Options

All meals are included at VOMO where you’ll enjoy a wide range of fresh delicious options, created by VOMO’s highly regarded culinary team.

The Reef Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, complete with nightly entertainment. A range of meal choices are available for adults and children, and all dietary needs can be catered for.

The Rocks Restaurant also offers lunch daily, and dinner from Thursday to Sunday evenings. This adult only zone is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some cocktails or canapes before indulging in an impressive share plate menu.

Spa & Wellness

Spoil yourself with a treatment at VOMO’s Kui Spa. Kui has two spa rooms available, and uses only Sodashi all-natural products. Choose from a range of treatments from highly skilled therapists.

VOMO also offers complimentary VOMOfit and yoga classes, run by a qualified personal trainer. There is also a tennis court and golf course on the property, as well as a multitude of walking tracks to help you keep moving.

Children

VOMO welcomes children of all ages, and children are sure to enjoy all the activities on offer. VOMO provides 4 hours of Baby Butler sitting per villa per day, though additional hours can be added for a fee. VOMO’s Kids Club, The Kids Village, is open from 9am -9pm. This facility provides a safe and enjoyable place for children to play, with meals provided by a dedicated chef.

VOMO runs a Bubble Blowers course for children interested in diving, or there are also scuba opportunities offered. For the teenagers VOMO provides a range of more adventurous activities, such as fishing trips and Survivor Challenges.

Experiences

When you’re ready for an adventure VOMO offers a range of experiences to choose from. A highlight is a private day picnic at sister island Vomo Lailai, located one kilometre from VOMO. This is only available for one booking per day, so you can enjoy a gourmet picnic and a swim on your own exclusive island.

VOMO also offers the opportunity to join a half day visit to a Fijian Village, where you may choose to “Pack for a Purpose” and donate to the locals.

VOMO provides complimentary water sports, including stand up paddle boards, kayaks, windsurfing, snorkelling equipment and safaris. Other experiences which can be enjoyed are island hopping, fishing or a visit to some of Fiji’s surf breaks.
